Open Cut Residency is a project sponsored by Broken Hill Gallery to develop a new artistic technique.
I am worked on 'carbon' transfer printing but using Broken Hill minerals as the pigment instead of black ink/dye which is normally used in carbon printing.
Testing different concentrations of ground rock for density in the final image.
A very nice iron oxide gel.
